Teaser:
A teasers are usually shorter and have less footage of the film its showing awareness for. It usually has little information about the film or has a shot specifically for the preview. Teasers are sometimes created before principal photography of a movie begins.
Trailer:
A Trailer has mostly feature clips from the film usually giving a plot outline of what the film is about. They are often created when the edits are complete.
